Our six solid Spruce self-catering lodges all have South facing verandas and occupy a peaceful, elevated site with views towards The Trossachs.
Each is of a spacious, open-plan design incorporating lounge, dining and kitchen areas.
The lounge area has ample seating on comfortable sofas (one of which folds down to a sofa bed suitable for (up to two) children. Please note additional bedding for the sofa bed is only provided when there are more than four persons staying in the accommodation. There is a modern flat screen TV and DVD player.
The dining area incorporates a large, solid wood table with seating for six.
The kitchen has all the mod cons you would expect including dishwasher and washer/dryer.
There is one double bedroom with fitted cupboards and wash hand basin and one twin bedroom with its own hanging space.
Each lodge has a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, w.c. and wash hand basin.
Please note that one of the lodges (McNab) offers a walk-in shower instead of a bath, for less-able guests. This lodge also has a ramp facility.
All bed linen and towels are provided.

Leny Lodge, our Victorian Gatehouse located at the entrance to the estate is our pet friendly option.

If you require to cancel a reservation for any reason, you must notify us by telephone and confirm the cancellation in writing. We will then attempt to find an alternative tenant for the accommodation, but if we are unsuccessful then you will not be entitled to refund of any deposit.
In the event that you have to cancel within twenty-eight days of the commencement date of the holiday, you will be responsible for the full cost of the let for the reserved period of the tenancy unless we are able to find a substitute tenant, in which case a refund, less expenses, of any unexpired portion of the let will be made to you.
Our McNab log cabin has been specially adapted to cater for guests with mobility issues. There is a ramp up to the veranda of the cabin and the bathroom has been fitted with grab rails and a walk-in shower with pull down seat.

There is an abundance of places to see and explore in the immediate local area from ancient castles and monuments to modern feats of engineering such as the spectacular Falkirk Wheel. Of course you may decide to venture a little further afield to the great cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow and all they have to offer. Here are just a few suggestions to whet your appetite.
